Elide Fire Extinguishing Ball has been developed to address many of the problems and limitations
associated with standard fire extinguishers. It contains the same
dry chemicals found in standard extinguisher and can be used to stop
fire class 1A*, and monitoring class 5B* and C* It is simple to use,
and adds additional protection in that it will self activate in the
presence of fire without human intervention.
Installation
With the multipurpose stand / mount,
Fire Extinguishing Ball can be wall mounted or simply rest in the
stand on a flat surface. Alternatively it can be placed on a shelf,
table or other visible area of easy access. It is best mounted in
high-risk areas such as kitchens, electrical circuit breakers, near
fireplaces or overloaded outlets.
Passive Use - Self Activating
Mount
One of the great benefits of Fire
Extinguishing Ball is the fact that it can self activate in the
presence of fire when no-one is present (similar to a sprinkler
activation). Unlike a standard extinguisher where someone needs to
be proactive, if positioned in the appropriate high risk area where
most fires are likely to start, it will self activate upon reaching
the appropriate temperature and extinguish the fire. Well positioned
wall mount will be most effective in passive use.
Active Use - Throwing or Tossing Fire Extinguishing Ball
into the Flames
Encountering a fire, an individual
would take the nearest available Fire Extinguishing ball and simply
throw it into the fire. The ball will naturally fall into the base
of the flame, where it is most needed, and activate within 3-10
seconds. No pins, no need to face the dangers of the fire, no
special training or skills required. |
